Our Calgary and Abbotsford plants consist of drying and screening
plants, as well as warehouse and storage areas. After being dried the
aggregates are elevated to the screening plant where they are separated
into various size fractions using high frequency vibrating screens.
Separated products are stored in covered silos. Recombining by weight
proportion of the different size fractions is done to meet various
specifications.
For mixed products the recombined aggregates,
cement and other chemical admixtures are accurately weighed and loaded
into a large rotating pan mixer. Discharge of these products to weighing
and bagging machines is the next step before palletization and warehouse
storage. Facilities are also available for bulk packaging and shipment of
products.
